The International Society for Small and Medium Enterprises (ISSME) brings together policy makers, experts and small business enterprises from around the world to share their experience and expertise.

At the core of ISSME’s creation was a strong desire to develop a global network for the sustainable growth of SMEs.

With Members, Affiliates and Partners in developed, developing as well as least developed countries worldwide serving micro, small and medium enterprises, it provides a platform which brings together governments, small business entrepreneurs, support organizations including reputed research and training institutions and international agencies like the United Nations to share information, network and pool resources to achieve a shared goal.

The areas ISSME works in include information and communication, technology transfer, incubation, training and research and capacity building. It organizes and supports international events and conferences as part of its commitment to achieve its objectives.
